Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using CAR AI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

CAR AI provides AI-powered vehicle diagnostic analysis using your device's camera, microphone, magnetometer, LiDAR (where available), and motion sensors. The App generates condition scores, findings, repair cost estimates, and market valuations. These are AI-generated preliminary assessments, not professional mechanical inspections.

3. Disclaimer of Accuracy

CAR AI is not a substitute for a professional vehicle inspection. All findings, scores, valuations, and repair estimates are generated by artificial intelligence and should be treated as informational guidance only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis. Always consult a qualified mechanic before making purchase decisions.

4. In-App Purchases & Subscriptions

Consumable scan packs (e.g., 3-pack, 10-pack) are non-refundable once used.
Subscriptions (Monthly, Yearly) auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.

5. User Content

Photos, videos, and audio recordings captured during scans may be uploaded to our servers for AI analysis. We process this data solely to provide the diagnostic service. See our Privacy Policy for details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for fraudulent purposes (e.g., misrepresenting vehicle condition)
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
Use automated systems to abuse the service
Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights

7. Lemon Board Community Content

The Lemon Board is a community feature where users share vehicle scan results. AI-generated roasts are satirical and for entertainment purposes only. By submitting to the Lemon Board, you grant CAR AI a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display your submission within the App.

8. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Account deletion permanently removes all your data from our servers, including scan history, vehicle data, and profile information. This action cannot be undone.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CAR AI and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to damages resulting from reliance on AI-generated assessments.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
